We (almost) built a deck!
Once again, I am the worst and have fallen way behind on my cabin updates! That is not to say we haven't been busy, I just am bad at adulting and writing apparently. Other than a brief hiatus to travel around Alaska in a camper van for a few weeks, and a few weekends where we had guests up to Alma, Jose and I have been busting our butts finishing the deck. When I say "we" i of course mean "he", but I am there between yoga classes and PBRs too! After we laid the frame which I talked about in my last post, we put in these pieces of wood Jose referred to as blockers. He tells me these make the deck strong, who knows. After the blockers went in we probably did a few more things, but I can't recall, and then started laying down the trex planks. That went pretty quickly and we had the entire thing planked in about two weekends!
