The brown dog has a new old house!
I can't believe it has been two weeks since we arrived in New York! We have known this move was coming for quite some time, but the actual date when Jose would start work and we actually could make the move, came in fast and furious. Like most things in my life, we didn't have a great plan in place, but it some how is working out. We got word on a Wednesday that Jose needed to be on site the following Friday. It's a pretty long drive and I promised my family we would visit in Michigan on the way out to the East coast, so that left us with two days to pack everything and rent out our house so we could start driving Saturday. Somehow the stars aligned and we drove to Des Moines the first night, then made it to Detroit the second where we spent Sunday-Wednesday. Wednesday we drove to Pennsylvania and Thursday morning we arrived in Harlem, where we will be spending the next sixish months.
